Privacy Policy
Last updated October 2, 2026.
This Privacy Policy describes how Freiman Injury Law, LLC ("the firm," "we," or "us") collects, uses, shares, and retains information through this website and its related pages, including the firm's case evaluation, appointment scheduling, and contact pages (together, the "Site").
Who this policy covers
This policy covers every visitor to the Site, but if the firm comes to represent you, the information in your matter, including what you submitted, moves outside of it. Until you submit one of its forms, the Site collects only the technical information described under "Information collected automatically" below. Consulting the firm about a potential case adds protections beyond this policy.
| Who | This policy | Beyond this policy |
|---|---|---|
| A visitor who browses without submitting anything | Applies to the technical information the Site collects automatically | None |
| A visitor to booking.freimanfirm.com who books a call, but not about their own potential case and not about a matter in which the firm represents or has represented them | Applies in full to everything you submit | None |
| A prospective client: you submitted a potential case through the Site | Applies to everything you submit through the Site, in addition to the technical information above | Prospective-client protections under the Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct |
| A client: the firm agreed to represent you | No longer applies: what you submitted becomes part of your matter's file | Your matter is governed by your engagement agreement, the attorney-client privilege, the work product doctrine, and the Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct, not by this policy |
| A former client: the firm previously represented you | No longer applies: your submissions are part of your former matter's file | Your former matter remains governed by your engagement agreement, the attorney-client privilege, the work product doctrine, and the Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct; the firm's duty of confidentiality continues after the representation ends |
These rows describe the capacity in which you submit, not the person. A current or former client who submits a new potential case is a prospective client as to that case, and a former client who contacts the firm about a past matter remains covered as a former client.
What you share in consulting the firm about a potential case is protected even if the firm does not take it. A visitor whose submission describes a potential case is a prospective client under the Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct. The firm may not use or reveal what a prospective client shares except as those rules allow, whether or not a representation follows, and that protection does not depend on this policy.
If the firm represents you, the information in your matter is not governed by this policy. When the representation begins, anything you submitted through the Site becomes part of your matter's file, and the file is governed by your engagement agreement, by the attorney-client privilege, by the work product doctrine, and by the Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct. The file also holds the firm's work product, its notes, research, analysis, strategy, and communications, none of which is collected through the Site. The firm's duty of confidentiality under those rules is broader than this policy, covers all information gained in the professional relationship, whatever its source, and continues after the representation ends.
Information we collect
Information collected automatically
When you use the Site, the firm's hosting and security providers receive technical information about the request, including your IP address, the general area that address indicates, your browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time of the request. This information is used to deliver the Site, to keep its forms working, and to identify automated or abusive traffic.
If you reach the Site from one of the firm's advertisements or from a link the firm publishes elsewhere, such as its social profiles, business listings, or business cards, the campaign tags carried in the link, including a click identifier added by Google, OpenAI, or Meta where one is present, may be stored with your submission so the firm can tell which advertising or link produced the inquiry.
Information you may provide
The Site collects the following information only if you choose to submit it through one of its forms; a visitor whose submission describes a potential case is a prospective client, as described under "Who this policy covers" above. Depending on the form, a submission may include:
- your name, the name you prefer to be called, your phone number, your email address, and the city or area you are in;
- information about a potential claim, including what happened, when and where it happened, the vehicles or property involved, the insurance you are aware of, and the other people or witnesses involved;
- health-related information necessary to evaluate an injury claim, such as the injuries reported and the medical care received;
- documents, photographs, or video you upload, such as a police report, medical records or bills, and photographs of a scene, a vehicle, or an injury;
- appointment details, including the date, time, and format of a consultation you schedule and anything you add to the request; and
- how you heard of the firm.
The case evaluation includes a map for marking where an incident happened, and the coordinates you mark are stored with your submission. If you use the button that centers the map on your current position, your browser will ask your permission first. The map's imagery and address search are provided by a third-party mapping service, which receives the searches run on it.
Information you give the firm by phone, by email, or at a consultation may be entered into the same systems as information submitted through the Site.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- review a potential claim and decide whether the firm is able to take it;
- respond to questions and requests;
- schedule, confirm, reschedule, and hold consultations, and send the related confirmations and reminders;
- check for conflicts of interest;
- maintain the firm's business records and its internal reporting on where inquiries come from and how they are handled;
- operate and secure the Site, including detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and automated submissions; and
- comply with the firm's legal and professional obligations.
Aggregate and de-identified information
The firm creates aggregate and de-identified information from the information it collects, such as the number of inquiries received, the case types they involve, the advertising or referral sources they came from, and how quickly they were answered. That information does not identify anyone, and the firm may keep and use it without the limits this policy places on personal information. The firm does not attempt to re-identify it.
How we share information
The firm does not sell personal information and does not provide what you submit through the Site's forms to advertising networks or data brokers. Mobile phone numbers and consent to receive text messages are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The advertising services the firm uses, Google, OpenAI, and Meta, do learn when someone who arrived from one of their advertisements submits a form, and they may use that to decide where the firm's advertisements are shown. OpenAI and Meta learn only that a form was submitted and, in Meta's case, the type of browser used. Google also learns, through Google Analytics, how far a visitor progressed through a form, including a form that was started but not submitted. Nothing entered or chosen in the Site's forms is passed to Google, OpenAI, or Meta, as described under Cookies below.
We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the Site and the firm. Those providers host the Site and store its data, provide the firm's email and calendar, host video consultations, supply the mapping and security features used by its forms, and measure the Site's traffic and the performance of its advertising, as described under Cookies below. Each is permitted to use the information only to provide its service to the firm, except that Google Analytics and OpenAI's and Meta's advertising measurement operate under those companies' own terms.
Beyond the service providers described above, the firm does not share what a prospective client submits. However, the firm may conclude that your potential case calls for another attorney's opinion, an expert's opinion, or a referral. If so, it will ask for your informed consent before sharing anything, and it will not proceed without it.
If the firm comes to represent you, what you submitted through the Site becomes part of the file in your matter and is no longer governed by this policy, as described under "Who this policy covers."
The firm may also disclose information, including a prospective client's submission, where required by law, subpoena, or court order, where necessary to establish or exercise the firm's legal rights, or where necessary to protect the safety of any person.
If the firm's practice is sold, merged, or reorganized, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the professional obligations that govern law practices.
Retention
The firm retains information collected through the Site for as long as its business purposes require, and does not delete it on a set schedule. Those purposes include maintaining the firm's records, checking for conflicts of interest, recognizing a later inquiry from the same person, establishing or defending the firm's legal rights, and internal reporting. The firm also retains information for as long as retention is required or permitted by law or by the professional obligations that govern law practices.
Security
Information you submit through the Site is encrypted in transit, and uploaded files are held in private storage available only to authorized firm personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and the firm cannot guarantee absolute security.
Minors
The Site is not directed to children, and the firm does not knowingly collect information through it from anyone under 18. The forms ask about a minor only where an adult, such as a parent or guardian, is describing the minor's injury. A parent or guardian who believes a minor has submitted information through the Site may contact the firm using the details below, and the firm will delete it unless the law or the firm's professional obligations require it to be kept.
Cookies and other tracking technologies
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. The Site uses a small number of cookies that are necessary for it to work, such as the cookie that keeps a case evaluation in progress connected to your browser. The Site also uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, which sets cookies to measure how visitors use the Site, including the pages viewed, how visitors arrived, whether a visit came from the firm's online advertising, and how far a visitor progressed through a form, including a form that was started but not submitted. That measurement records only which steps of a form were reached, not the answers given in them. When someone who arrived from one of the firm's Google advertisements reaches the page shown after a form is submitted, whether during that visit or a later one, Google Analytics reports that to the firm's Google advertising account. That report, like everything else the Site sends to Google, includes nothing entered or chosen in the Site's forms. Google processes that information under its own privacy policy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics through the browser add-on Google provides. When a visitor who arrived from one of the firm's advertisements in ChatGPT submits a form, the firm's server reports to OpenAI that the advertisement produced an inquiry, using the click reference OpenAI added to the advertisement's link. That report sets no cookie and includes nothing the visitor submitted. The same is true of the firm's advertisements on Facebook and Instagram: the firm's server reports the inquiry to Meta Platforms, Inc. using the click reference Meta added to the advertisement's link, together with the browser identification (user agent) string the visitor's browser sent, which Meta requires. That report also sets no cookie and includes nothing the visitor submitted. The Site also measures aggregate traffic, such as the number of visits, the pages viewed, referring sites, country, and device type, through a cookieless analytics service provided by its hosting provider. The Site does not use session recording.
Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Refusing the functional cookies may stop parts of the Site from working, including the case evaluation and file uploads.
Browser privacy signals
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track," "Global Privacy Control," or similar signal. The Site does not respond to them. The firm does not sell personal information, and the analytics and advertising measurement described under Cookies above operate whether or not a browser sends such a signal.
Links to other websites
The Site links to websites the firm does not control, including the firm's profiles on social media platforms and the scheduling and video conferencing tools used for consultations. This policy does not apply to those websites. Their operators handle information under their own privacy policies, which you should review before providing information to them.
Your choices
The firm may use the phone number or email address you provide to contact you about your inquiry by phone, text message, or email. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply to text messages. The firm does not send marketing emails and does not send automated marketing text messages.
The firm's automated messages, such as appointment confirmations and reminders, are sent from mailboxes that are not monitored, and a reply to one will not reach the firm. Each of those messages lists a monitored address you can write to instead. To ask the firm to stop contacting you, or to change how it contacts you, write to that address or use the contact details at the end of this policy. If the firm texts you about your inquiry, you may reply STOP or tell the firm by any other means, and you may reply HELP for help.
Your privacy rights
Wherever you live, and subject to the limits described below, you may ask the firm to do any of the following with the information it has collected about you through the Site:
- confirm whether it holds information about you collected through the Site, and describe what it holds;
- provide a copy of the information you submitted;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- delete information; and
- refrain from selling your information, which the firm does not do in any event.
These rights apply to information this policy covers. They do not reach the file of a current or former matter; rights in that information are governed instead by the Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct.
The firm may decline a request, in whole or in part, where retention is required or permitted by law or by the Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct, where the information concerns a matter in which the firm is or was adverse to you, where the request cannot be granted without disclosing information about another person, or where the firm is unable to verify who is making it. The firm will tell you the reason.
You will not be treated differently for making a request. To make one, email privacy@freimanfirm.com or write to the address below, and describe what you are asking for. The firm will respond within 45 days, and will tell you if it needs longer. The firm may ask for information sufficient to confirm that you are the person the request concerns. An authorized agent may make a request for you if the agent provides written authorization signed by you, and the firm may still contact you to verify it.
The California Consumer Privacy Act. Freiman Injury Law, LLC is a Georgia law firm. It is not a "business" as the California Consumer Privacy Act defines that term, and nothing in this policy is a statement of compliance with that Act or with any other state's comprehensive privacy statute. The firm may nonetheless hear from and represent California residents, most often where someone who lives in California was injured in Georgia or is pursuing a claim in Georgia. The rights described in this section are offered by the firm as a matter of practice to anyone who asks, without regard to where they live, and offering them is not an admission that any particular statute applies to the firm.
Users outside the United States
The firm is a Georgia law firm, and the Site is operated from and intended for users in the United States. If you use the Site from another country, you do so on your own initiative. Information submitted through the Site is handled subject to United States law, which may protect it less than the law where you live and may permit United States authorities to obtain access to it.
Changes to this policy
The firm may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision, and a revised policy takes effect when it is posted. Your continued use of the Site after a revision is posted means you accept it.
